making and sharing a list is free, and your guests pay ₦0 in fees. there’s no withdrawal fee either — we cover the bank transfer. the only fee is 3%, and only if you swap a gift from the joygiver shop for cash.
how does the money get to me?
every gift lands in your joygiver wallet straight away. withdraw to your own verified bank account whenever you like — the same day, no withdrawal fee.
is it safe?
payments are processed by licensed nigerian payment partners. before your first withdrawal you verify once with your bvn or nin, and money only ever goes to a bank account in your own name. every list has a report button, and a real person reviews every report.
do my friends need the app?
no. your link opens in any browser. they pick an amount and pay by bank transfer, card or ussd — under a minute, no sign-up.
what if i don’t hit my goal?
you keep everything your people sent. a goal is a target, not a condition. for a group gift on a shop item, if it isn’t fully funded within 48 hours of its date you choose: keep the money as cash, or refund everyone.
do i have to buy the exact item?
no. cash wishes are yours to spend however you like. a caught gift from the joygiver shop can be delivered, swapped for something else, or cashed out.
